Evaluating Your Condition

Any information is useful to Dr. McMeeking when he is trying to figure out which transmitted diseases you may be suffering from. Not only will he look at your disease symptoms, he will also take into account your medical history, any traveling you or those around you may have done recently, your diet, and the type of environment you live in, among other things.

Getting a diagnosis is critical to coming up with a disease treatment plan. So, it’s important to give Dr. McMeeking honest information. Even the seemingly smallest bit of information is important. If HIV is left unchecked, it can not only increase your risk of certain diseases and conditions but cause serious complications.

There are a number of disease testing methods that can provide results for Dr. McMeeking. We offer in-office screening for the following:

  • Hepatitis B and C.
  • HPV and cervical cancer in women.
  • Anal carcinomas in men and women.
  • Regular screenings for signs of kidney disease with blood and urine exams.
  • Screenings for signs of stroke and heart disease.
  • Regular screening for increased cholesterol and hypertension and counseling on weight loss, cigarette cessation, diet and exercise programs.
  • Regular screening for signs of osteoporosis and osteopenia.
